Case Study - Red Light Masks Are A Lucrative Niche

Earlier this year I was doing research on the potential benefits of red light therapy and decided to see what kind of search volume “red light” themed keywords were getting. I was blown away by the search volume. Check this out:
There are almost a million searches per month for red light mask keywords!
Red light masks only started trending about a year ago, meaning it’s still a red hot niche.

After spending some time researching potential red light affiliate products, I realized the real potential seemed to be in red light masks. There were a lot of red light mask affiliate offers with high payouts, and based on the search volume demand seemed high.
So I put together a “Top 5 Best LED Face Masks 2024” list of the affiliate offers I was going to run.
This “best of” list included two really high payout red light mask affiliate offers
Qure LED Mask - $125 payout per sale - contact them for affiliate details.
Higher Dose LED Mask - 15% per sale (Usually around $80 per sale) - available on ShareASale.
Then, of course I made a Google Ads campaign targeting the relevant keywords, and started spending at around $250/day
Here are my earnings so far this year from this campaign:
I’ve been running this list for just over 5 months, and it’s done very well, netting me close to $5,000/month. My ROI is still lower than I would like, but I’m optimizing the campaigns and am expecting a nice uptick as we approach the holiday season.
The numbers for this campaign so far are: $131,859.78 in revenue - $103,000 in total ad costs = $28,859.78 profit
Revenue for Qure LED Mask is just over $130k so far this year
Sales for HigherDOSE mask are just $1,600, but this is due to it being placed #2 on my list of “best led masks”
My whole approach to affiliate marketing is to work on getting dozens of these types of campaigns going simultaneously. And you can do this by trying to spot product based trends, finding the best affiliate offers for those trends, building “best of lists” for those products, then running search ads targeting those “best of” keywords.
